Our History
Since 1971, Candent has been operating in Canada, but the roots of the company go back to family owned business in India, which has been supplying natural bone for medical studies around the world for generations. With contacts and expertise in this field Candent was established as one of the largest suppliers of natural bone in North America. In 1985 when international regulations severely restricted the trade of in natural bone, Candent filled the void with medical models from the best manufacturers in the world.
Our Products
Candent supplies medical and dental teaching models and posters. We pride ourselves on anatomical accuracy and we have searched the world for manufacturers that can meet our rigorous standards. Over 500 medical models are available through our catalogue.
We also manufacture our own models. The XRP-1 Dental Radiographic Manikin, for example, is a carefully hand crafted model with natural bone teeth and sinuses. Natural bone is Candent's specialty. Although the supply is limited, specimens are still available. Please contact us for assistance with any natural bone requirements that you might have.

This catalogue lists our most popular items, most of which are stock items and can be shipped within 10 days. For items not listed, please contact us directly. Our knowledgeable staff will be more than happy to fill any special orders that you might have. Candent can also provide custom models and specimens carefully adapted by our technicians to meet your specific requirements.
Our technicians also handle repairs and after-market service for any radiographic manikins and bone items (even those not bought from us originally). Please call your customer service representative to make arrangements.
As a special educational service, we provide qualified students with models on a rental basis.
Our Museum
An affiliate of Candent, the Museum of Osteological Anomalies houses one of the largest collections of natural bone cranial deformities as well as spinal and long bone deformities. Located in Toronto, Ontario, the Museum is open by appointment only. Please contact us if you would like to arrange a visit.
