Dental Radiographic Manikin
The XRP-2 is a patient-like substitute for intraoral x-ray training. This manikin allows unlimited exposure to x-rays to teach different types of intraoral radiography, without the concern of exposing the patient to too much radiation.
The manikin is made out of a carefully selected natural bone skull for a perfect picture, every time, of the dental roots, sinuses and other features with good occlusal and proximal relation. This manikin offers almost any requirements for teaching oral radiography.
An all new silicone skin was created by a top special effects company, with realistic skin texture and nose and ears. This is the most realistic radiographic manikin available.
The operational mechanism of this manikin is very simple, while very sturdy. With the slightest turn of the control knob at the side of the neck, the bite opening and closing mechanism can be regulated and locked in any position by a gear type system. The head is mounted on a shaft with ball and socket joint to represent the movement at the head and neck. This one hand held operation is simple as 1-2-3. An adjustable and free floating tongue makes it look and feel like a real person.
An excellent, sturdy and variable position mount keeps the manikin firm at any position, and the belt holds the mount to most makes of dental chairs. The head strap secures the manikin head to the chair.
The simple and sturdy finger comes with a ball for holding the x-ray film in place.
